“I had met so many patients who felt confused about their symptoms, anxious without clear guidance, and left without a diagnosis or information about menopause. With Menopause Care, I wanted to change that—offering the support, knowledge, and compassion women deserve to feel their best through midlife.”

Our doctors will talk through your whole medical history, and be able to provide a clear answer to whether your symptoms could be hormonal or are caused by another condition. Our doctors are experts in assessing whether the root cause could be perimenopause or menopause. Obtaining a clear diagnosis will depend on your exact medical circumstances and the root cause of your specific symptoms. If the cause is not hormonal, your doctor will recommend further investigations to put you on a clear path to diagnosis

No, in general blood tests are not required in before an appointment. Perimenopause and menopause are usually defined by your symptoms, and medical history rather than by a specific test. If you do need a specific test, you doctor will advise that in the consultation.
It is completely your choice how you access our care. Over 80% of our new patients choose a care plan, this is because it offers more complete support beyond your initial appointment. If you are looking to just speak to an expert once, then a one off appointment will be the right option.
Our care plans are designed to offer personalised treatment, ongoing support, and a more manageable way to cover the cost of private care. By spreading the cost of your appointments and medications over three months, you get access to expert care without the upfront pressure. You’ll also benefit from added support between appointments, including WhatsApp access to a member of our clinical team. Your can cancel your care plan every 3 months. Each full doctor appointment triggers three months more on the care plan, aligning with typical prescription cycles. Most women will need around four appointments per year.
We will email you reminding you to book your follow up-whether you are on our care plan or have single appointments.
In the care plan, you have £90 of medications credit included in the price. The majority of first prescriptions are less than £90, so this has been designed to make our care as complete as possible. However, there is a wide range of medications that women choose after their consultation. If your prescription costs over £90, you will be invoiced the extra cost as a one off payment following your consultation. Learn more about our medications pricing here.
If you are paying one off for your care and medications you will be invoiced after your appointment for the prescription medication your doctor issued. You do not have to obtain your medication privately with us, but if you choose to we ship it Royal Mail 24 the day after you pay.
