Dr Zoe Schaedel - Menopause Specialist
I am a GP and an accredited Menopause Specialist. I have had a long-term interest in women’s health and I embarked on specialist menopause training because I wanted to make sure all women that I care for have access to the best possible advice about menopause. I have seen so many women struggle to access quality information and treatment and I am delighted to be working alongside Naomi to share my knowledge, skills, and experience to ensure that women get the care that they need for symptoms of menopause.
I am always struck by how broad the impact of menopause can be - affecting so many aspects of a woman’s life. I have a particular interest in how menopause affects sleep, emotional experience, and mood. So many women experience disturbed sleep, low mood, and anxiety and I have undertaken additional training to understand these issues in depth; including training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for menopausal symptoms and for insomnia. I hold the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health, and the Advanced Certificate of Menopause Care.
I still work part-time as an NHS GP in Brighton and as a medical educator - training budding GPs and other health professionals (often about menopause!) Outside of work I spend as much time as I can with my husband and two little boys, and the recent addition of our Goldendoodle puppy. Getting outside is really important to me, and I love enjoying the Sussex Countryside!

Dr Liz Andrew - Menopause Doctor
I have worked as a GP for over 12 years and developed a passion for offering women the care they deserve during menopause. I am an advocate for giving all women the knowledge and support they need to make choices about their own bodies during a time in their lives which can feel fraught and emotional. As well as prescribing body identical HRT and also encourage the use of lifestyle adjustments to actively improve the wellbeing of all women. I recognise that we are all different and believe that our most important role as doctors is to listen to what matters to you.
I graduated from Liverpool University Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours degree in 2002. Following this I initially pursued surgical training gaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2006. I met my husband whilst training in Plastic Surgery but decided to pursue a career in General Practice which took me through training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This is where my interest in Women’s Health began!
Over the last 19 years working as a qualified doctor I have honed my skills in providing holistic care for my patients especially in menopause. I have undertaken additional training in menopause as well as dermatology (skin) and lifestyle medicine to be able to fully advise my patients in how to achieve real wellbeing during menopause and thereafter. I am a Member of the British Menopause Society and completing my Advanced Specialist in Menopause Certificate.
Whilst working as a GP in an NHS practice in Cheshire I am also a mum to three young girls and married to a surgeon. I understand the unique and often misunderstood pressures on women which can become particularly difficult during the hormonal changes of peri menopause and thereon. I have myself discovered a love of reformer pilates and also enjoy getting out into nature to walk my puppy Murphy, as well as travelling, skiing and beaches when the world allows. I like to annoy my husband and children about the importance of nutrition, what we eat and the gut microbiome, which has become a new learning fascination.
Mostly, I am here to listen to you, help you to recognise your perimenopause, something I realise doesn’t always happen in routine medical appointments and then support you in making choices to improve your menopause experience, at whatever age in your life that may be. I really look forward to meeting you.
