Specialist Blood Tests at Menopause Care

At Menopause Care, we believe in testing with a purpose. We are here to support you with a tailored approach, which is why we only suggest blood tests when they're truly helpful in understanding your specific symptoms and hormone health.

If your doctor recommends a test after your consultation, they’ll outline which markers are needed in your clinic letter. Once you’ve submitted your request, our team takes care of the rest—from confirming your markers to finding your most convenient local clinic. We have designed the process to be as accessible and stress-free as possible, so you can focus on feeling like yourself again.

A supportive approach to your health

Navigating menopause can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to help you find clarity. While not every woman needs a blood test to begin her care, they can be a valuable tool in understanding your unique hormone balance and overall wellness.

How blood testing at Menopause Care works

Booking and having your blood test is straightforward. Here is what to expect:

Step 1

Choose a blood test

icon

Your clinician will tell you in your clinic letter which blood test is right for you, and why. If you are unsure, get in touch with our team at info@menopausecare.co.uk.

Step 2

Request it here and pay online

icon

Use the form below to choose the blood test package or pack outlined in your clinic letter, and complete your secure online payment.

Our bloods team will review this and contact you within 48 business hours to confirm your blood test requirements, pricing, and available clinic locations, where applicable.

If there are any differences between your request and the recommendations outlined in your clinic letter, we will let you know. If any additional blood tests are recommended that fall outside your original request, we will discuss these with you and provide a separate invoice with full details before proceeding.

Step 3

Get tested at a local clinic (or book a home visit)

icon

Visit one of our partner clinics near you. If you'd prefer a home visit, we can arrange that for an additional fee.

We use venous blood tests, where blood is drawn from a vein (usually in your arm). This is more reliable than finger-prick tests, particularly for measuring oestradiol. A qualified phlebotomist will take your sample; the appointment usually takes around 15 minutes.

Step 4

Results shared and reviewed by your clinician

icon

Once your results are processed (usually within a few days), they go straight to your Menopause Care clinician for review. If your results need any discussion before your next appointment, your clinician or our team will be in touch.

Arrange your blood tests

Please use this form to submit your blood test package request as outlined in your clinic letter. Once received, our dedicated team will review your details to finalise your booking.
