What to expect

How our care works

  • 1

    Specialist consultation (45 min)

A menopause or perimenopause doctor explores your symptoms, hormonal stage, medical history, and any existing diagnoses

  • 2

    Personalised plan

You will receive a personalised care plan based on your symptoms, medical history, and priorities. This may include hormone treatment where appropriate, alongside practical lifestyle and wellbeing support

  • 3

    Ongoing review and support

Prescription management, blood tests if needed, and continuity of care for as long as you need

We prescribe all forms of hormone replacement therapy (HRT)

Your (peri)menopause is unique. Your treatment should be too.

Oestrogen

Oestrogen, the main hormone that declines in menopause, is replaced in HRT through gels, patches, sprays, or tablets.

Progesterone

If you have a womb and are starting oestrogen HRT, you will also need to take progesterone. Progesterone is available as capsules, combined patches, or the Mirena coil.

Testosterone

Testosterone is a critical hormone for women, and declines with age. For women on HRT that continue to have symptoms such as low libido, testosterone replacement may help.

Vaginal Oestrogen

Vaginal oestrogen is a low dose medication used to treat symptoms such as vaginal dryness and frequent UTIs. It can be prescribed in the form of pessaries, gels or creams.

Our Founder, Dr Naomi Potter, on how we’re here to help

“I had met so many patients who felt confused about their symptoms, anxious without clear guidance, and left without a diagnosis or information about menopause. With Menopause Care, I wanted to change that, offering the support, knowledge, and compassion women deserve to feel their best through midlife.”
