About
I’m a Consultant Endocrinologist working in the North East of England. I provide care for women who are transitioning through the menopause, typically in the context of other endocrine or metabolic conditions (such as thyroid conditions and adrenal gland disease).
I love getting up extra early so I can enjoy a coffee in peace before the rest of the house wakes up! My other favourite things - weekends with family in the Northumberland countryside and flying visits home to Northern Ireland.
Medical expertise
I embarked on specialist training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Internal Medicine in 2009. Since taking up my Consultant post in 2018, I have developed a regional service to provide care for women with endocrine conditions in pregnancy.
