Get to know Dr Laura

Working for Menopause Care is my main focus. However I also work in an NHS community gynaecology clinic, the emergency care GP centre and I teach medical students. My clinical expertise includes fitting coils and contraceptive implants, performing endometrial biopsies, and I have specialised training in colposcopy for managing abnormal smears. Having completed my advanced menopause training at Sheffield Teaching Hospital, I am well-equipped to manage menopause, particularly in patients with gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, and problematic periods. As a mother of two energetic boys, I understand first-hand the importance of maintaining well-being to balance both life and work.
